Jeffrey D. Schoen is a 30 year partner at Jones Fussell, L.L.P., where he has practiced for his entire career, with experience and expertise in numerous areas, but with primary attention in the business, real estate, transaction, and regulatory arenas. He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell, the highest legal ability and ethical rating afforded by that service.
Presently, Mr. Schoen’s practice is primarily focused on representation of businesses of all types, including the handling of real estate and business transactions of all types, procurement of entitlements for development projects and regulatory work in connection therewith (including local planning, zoning, and Council matters of all types), and other general matters such as corporate, contracts, wills, collections, successions, and general business.
Mr. Schoen has handled more planning and zoning cases before the Parish of St. Tammany Planning and Zoning Commissions, as well as the former Parish Police Jury and current Parish Council, than any other practitioner in St. Tammany Parish over the past 32 years, having enjoyed much success thereby allowing his clients to develop business opportunities throughout St. Tammany Parish.
Mr. Schoen places special emphasis on his personal availability and attention to all matters within his practice, including prompt return of telephone calls and emails. His experience and success allows him to provide advices to clients that enhance their opportunities to reach their objectives in an effective, expedient, and cost efficient manner.
In addition to being a full equity partner and practicing full-time, Mr. Schoen also handles many of the administrative matters for the Firm, serving as its Managing Partner.
Mr. Schoen graduated from Louisiana State University Law School in 1978, where he was selected to Law Review, as well as attained Order of the Coif and Moot Court (finalist) at the Louisiana Supreme Court. |
